Space - Time - Interval

The temporal structure of "horizontal radio" does not adhere to a fixed transmission scheme which all participants must take part in.Rather, the model of an open communicative situation which one enters to take part in the action maintains its validity.

This means that not all stations must take part for the same stretchof time. A total time framework of up to a number of hours is conceivable within which each station

• logs in for a specific time sequence,
• drops in a couple of times,
• or stays for the whole course of time...

One simply registers for certain themes in the conference, contributes one’s own discourses or only takes part in periodic round tables. horizontal radio: a topographical virtual space, a communicative place, that takes on form for the duration of the communal transmission..
